Through its AC Global companies, the OYAK Group is the global market leader in the production of PVC stabilizers and other specialty additives—essential raw materials for the PVC industry.

The additives manufactured by AC Global are used in the production of end products serving a broad range of industries, including construction, building materials, electrical and electronics, and automotive.

Global Leader in the Alumina Market

Almatis was established in the Netherlands to supply high-quality raw materials to the refractory and chemical industries. Following the signing of the share purchase agreement in 2015, OYAK Global Investments B.V. acquired 100% of Almatis’ shares, bringing Almatis and its subsidiaries into the OYAK Group.

Almatis specializes in the processing of alumina (aluminum oxide) into specialty alumina products, which it manufactures and markets worldwide.

With eight production facilities across three continents and more than 100 years of industry experience, Almatis is the world’s largest and only fully integrated producer of specialty alumina. The Company also holds a unique position thanks to the breadth of its product portfolio.

Specialty alumina is a critical raw material used across a wide range of industries, primarily in refractories, as well as ceramics, polishing applications, glass, thermal interface materials, fabricated cast products, catalyst carriers, construction chemicals, electronic fillers, high-voltage insulators, and wear-resistant mechanical components.

Kümaş: Türkiye’s Market Leader in the Refractory Industry

One of the world’s largest magnesite mining operators and the market leader in Türkiye’s refractories industry, Kümaş Manyezit became part of the OYAK Group on 3 February 2021.

Kümaş is Türkiye’s leading and largest vertically integrated refractory producer. The Company manages the entire value chain—from magnesite mining and raw material processing to the manufacturing, sales, and distribution of refractory products.
