Cement Concrete Paper Companies
Operating across all seven geographical regions of Türkiye, OYAK Cement, Concrete and Paper Companies comprise one publicly listed cement company (OYAK Çimento Fabrikaları A.Ş.), one paper and packaging company, and one energy company.
With its clinker production and cement grinding capacities, as well as its market share, OYAK Çimento maintained its position as Türkiye’s largest cement producer in 2025.
As part of its strategy to strengthen its financial, administrative, and legal structure while enhancing production and distribution capabilities, OYAK consolidated its five publicly listed cement companies—Adana Çimento, Bolu Çimento, Ünye Çimento, Aslan Çimento, and Mardin Çimento—under Mardin Çimento Sanayii ve Ticaret A.Ş. on 15 May 2020. Following the merger, the Company was renamed OYAK Çimento Fabrikaları A.Ş.
On 31 December 2020, OYAK Beton Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. was merged into its wholly owned parent company, OYAK Çimento Fabrikaları A.Ş., through a simplified merger procedure.
The simplified merger of OYAK Çimento A.Ş. and Denizli Çimento Sanayii T.A.Ş. under OYAK Çimento A.Ş. was officially registered on 19 June 2023. Following the merger, the Company continued its operations under the name OYAK Denizli Çimento A.Ş.
In line with OYAK’s strategic objectives for the cement industry, it was decided to consolidate OYAK Çimento Fabrikaları A.Ş. and OYAK Denizli Çimento A.Ş. under a single corporate structure. The transfer of OYAK Denizli Çimento A.Ş. to OYAK Çimento Fabrikaları A.Ş. was approved by the Capital Markets Board of Türkiye on 22 November 2023, and the merger was officially registered on 28 December 2023. OYAK Çimento Fabrikaları A.Ş. is listed on Borsa İstanbul under the ticker symbol OYAKC.
As part of the international operations of OYAK Cement, Concrete and Paper Companies, in which OYAK indirectly held a 60% stake, the sale of the entire shareholding in Cimpor Portugal Holdings to TCC, together with the transfer of 20% of the shares in OYAK Çimento Fabrikaları A.Ş. to TCC, was completed on 6 March 2024. Following the transaction, OYAK’s indirect ownership in OYAK Çimento Fabrikaları A.Ş. decreased to 30.324%.
Pursuant to the mandatory tender offer arising from the share transfer completed on 6 March 2024, TCC OYAK Amsterdam Holdings B.V. conducted a mandatory tender offer between 16 July and 29 July 2024. Following the completion of the offer, TCC OYAK Amsterdam Holdings B.V.’s shareholding in OYAK Çimento Fabrikaları A.Ş. increased from 75.81% to 80.05%, while OYAK’s indirect ownership increased to 32.02%.
Türkiye’s Only Integrated Kraft Paper Producer
OYKA Kağıt Ambalaj San. ve Tic. A.Ş. operates in the production of kraft paper and kraft paper sacks. As Türkiye’s only integrated kraft paper producer, OYKA has an annual paper production capacity of 100 thousand tonnes and an annual kraft paper sack production capacity of 220 million units.
