OMSAN Lojistik, one of the leading companies in the logistics sector, once again demonstrated its commitment to women's labour and equal opportunities with a special event held on 8 March, International Women's Day. Contrary to the widespread perception that the number of female employees in the sector is limited, one in every two white-collar employees at OMSAN is female.
Moreover, the strong representation of female employees in the company's management ranks is noteworthy. In keeping with the meaning and importance of 8 March, all women working at OMSAN received special gift packages prepared again by women’s efforts. Early in the morning, their male colleagues made a meaningful gesture by greeting their female colleagues at the door with flowers. The purple colour, the symbol of the day, also became a symbol of solidarity at OMSAN. Female employees wore purple badges on their lapels, while male employees wore purple ribbons to show their support. The gifts prepared were delivered to all blue- and white-collar female employees working within the company. Special packages were also prepared for female employees working in OMSAN's overseas operations. OMSAN Lojistik, which has attracted attention with its recent growth momentum, has once again strongly demonstrated its commitment to equal opportunities and the value it places on women's labour, one of the fundamental elements of its corporate culture.
Strong Female Representation Contrary to Industry Perception
Contrary to the widespread perception that the number of female employees in the logistics sector is limited, OMSAN stands out as one of the companies with strong female representation. Across the company, there are 199 female employees in total, 115 of whom are white-collar workers and 84 of whom are blue-collar workers. The General Management team includes 83 female and 102 male employees. The fact that there are more female employees in managerial positions than male employees highlights OMSAN's remarkable profile in this area. In this respect, OMSAN stands out as one of the leading organisations in terms of female representation, both within OYAK companies and in the logistics sector.
Arıburnu: "Equality Is Not a Choice for Us, It Is a Corporate Commitment"

For us, sustainability means embedding equal opportunities into our corporate culture. Today, I salute our female colleagues who are pushing boundaries at every level of our logistics group with respect and appreciation. Your intellectual capital and distinctive leadership add value not only to our business results but also to the spirit of our organisation. We see equality not as a preference, but as an unwavering corporate commitment. That is why we stand by our promise to build a fairer and more inclusive working environment every day. Because we know that a strong tomorrow can only be built on equal opportunities. Happy 8 March International Women's Day to all the women whose presence enriches our work and the world.
