OYAK General Manager Murat Yalçıntaş and the accompanying delegation visited Oyak Renault’s production hub in Bursa, one of Turkey’s most established automotive joint ventures.
During the visit, the production lines of Duster, Clio and Boreal—scheduled to enter production in 2026—were examined on site. Accompanied by Renault Group Türkiye CEO Lionel Jaillet, Mr. Yalçıntaş met with engineers and production teams to receive detailed information about production processes and technological infrastructure. The delegation also closely reviewed OYAK HORSE’s next-generation HR18 engine developed for hybrid vehicles.
Highlighting that Oyak Renault represents the strongest cooperation model in Turkey’s automotive sector, realized through the long-standing strategic partnership between OYAK and Renault Group, OYAK General Manager Murat Yalçıntaş stated: “This collaboration stands out as an exemplary industrial model that elevates Turkey’s production capabilities to global standards while combining domestic engineering power with international competitiveness.”
OYAK HORSE has also achieved a significant milestone with the development of its state-of-the-art HR18 engine for hybrid vehicles. In addition to the HR18 engine, OYAK HORSE will showcase a locally produced aluminum engine block at its booth during TEKNOFEST 2025. With a special promotional film prepared for the event, visitors will be able to follow each stage of HR18’s production. Furthermore, OYAK HORSE’s R&D engineers will be present throughout the event, taking place in Istanbul between 17–21 September, to introduce the HR18 engine and answer visitors’ questions.
