OYAK General Manager Murat Yalçıntaş attended the High-Level Business Roundtable Meeting held in Düsseldorf in cooperation with the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK) Türkiye-Germany Business Council, the German-Turkish Business Council (DTWR), and the NRW Global Business Investment and Development Agency.
The meeting, which was also attended by Christian Wulff, the 10th President of Germany and Honorary Chairman of the German-Turkish Business Council, as well as Hendrik Wüst, the Prime Minister of North Rhine-Westphalia and President & Chairman of the Executive Board (DEİK) Nail Olpak focused on the economic relations and mutual potential between the two countries. Opportunities in energy, sustainability, resilience, supply chains, technology, and production were discussed.
Attending the meetings, OYAK General Manager Murat Yalçıntaş highlighted that OYAK operates in Germany as both an investor and operator through two strong brands. Stating, “At OYAK, we believe in the power of long-term partnerships,” Yalçıntaş added, “We believe that when we work together, combining knowledge, experience, and trust, we can transform today’s challenges into tomorrow’s opportunities.”
Future-oriented strategies were evaluated
Providing information about his engagements in Germany, Yalçıntaş said, “Our comprehensive meetings during our visits to our subsidiaries ANKER Bank GmbH and Almatis provided an important opportunity to assess our operational processes on-site and to shape our strategic plans for the future.”
Emphasizing that OYAK’s investments in Germany play a strategic role in strengthening the Group’s global competitiveness, Yalçıntaş stated, “Our presence in Germany stands as one of the most tangible examples of OYAK’s international growth vision. In the upcoming period, we aim to further strengthen our position in the German and European markets. The meetings we held with our subsidiaries play a critical role in advancing steadily and decisively toward these goals.”
