As the leader in Europe in the global cement industry, OYAK Çimento also the capacity and market leader of the Turkish cement industry and continues its sales in six plants and seven geographical regions.
Takes universal ethics as a reference

TEID – Ethics and Reputation Society (TEID) was established in 2010 to increase awareness in the areas of effective management of ethical and compliance risks, integrity, accountability, and transparency, and turning business ethics into an integral part of the culture of companies operating in our country. Today, TEID continues to work with more than 160 corporate members, which have significant importance in their industries, make up 15 percent of the Turkish GDP and offer employment to more than 400 thousand employees. Acting on the fact that factors such as responsible citizenship, effectiveness of sustainable production policies, innovation policies, compliance with ethical rules and reputation are also important in defining a company’s success in addition to the financial data, TEID also provides private sector coordination for the implementation of anti-corruption agreements in which the Republic of Turkey, the UN, and the OECD are a party of. Furthermore, TEID plays an active role in bringing the world’s existing values to Turkey in the area of management of ethical risks and serves as the representative of TRACE International Turkey, the Global Ethics Network Regional Representative, member of the European Business Ethics Network, member of the Basel Institute on Governance Working Group and member of the OECD Anti-Corruption Working Group, and Regional Advisory Board.
