In line with the logistics vision determined for the new period by OYAK Group, OMSAN Logistics took an action to strengthen the international structuring. In this context, Ergun Arıburnu, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of OMSAN Logistics, and Ahmet Tansık, the General Manager of OMSAN, visited the company’s operations centre in France and evaluated the European activities on site.
Within the scope of the new strategic approach where OYAK included the energy, logistics and high technology investments in growth axis, OMSAN is getting prepared to extend its international presence and reach a more effective position in the global logistics network. The visit to France made in this framework is regarded as an important part of the steps which will speed up the international integration of the company.
During the visit, the improvement of OMSAN’s capability to transport across the Europe, generalization of multi-modal solutions, efficiency of regional operations and opportunities for new collaborations were discussed. At the meetings with the French team, Arıburnu and Tansık shared the strategies focusing on the company’s digitalization, sustainability, operational excellence and integrated solutions in parallel to the transformation agenda set in logistics by OMSAN.
OMSAN Logistics aims to sustain the investments for both the in-group logistics needs and the opportunities to grow in the international markets in harmony with the roadmap for strengthening the global competitiveness of OYAK.
Around OMSAN’s organizational competent and feed-back anaylses as well as principles for excellence in business processes, Diğdem Liga, the Director of OMSAN Automotive Group, and Ahmet Kemal Bakkaloğlu, OMSAN International Offices Group Manager, were present in the visit. The visit to the French Office is considered as a strategical step for the company to fortify its presence more in Europe.
